AeroGuard’s India pathway gives students and their families a clear view of each step – from initial interview to U.S. flight training, DGCA conversion preparation, and career-readiness support.
- Inquiry & Eligibility Review: Connect with AeroGuard admissions to review goals, readiness, and basic eligibility requirements.
- DGCA Ground School in India: Complete theoretical preparation for DGCA requirements, including Air Navigation, Air Meteorology, Air Regulations, and Restricted Radiotelephony.
- Travel to Phoenix, Arizona: Begin training at AeroGuard’s Phoenix campus in a professional, airline-style environment.
- Licenses & Ratings: Progress through FAA training milestones, which may include private pilot, instrument, commercial, and multi-engine components.

Assessment & Eligibility Review
Before enrolling, applicants complete an AeroGuard eligibility and readiness review to help confirm they are prepared for professional flight training and an airline pilot career.
This process will include a formal application, admissions interview, documents review, English proficiency screening, medical status confirmation, and confirming financial readiness. Final acceptance is subject to AeroGuard’s admissions review and completion of all required documentation.

No prior flight experience is required to apply to the AeroGuard India Program.
Do I need a valid passport?
You will need a valid passport in order to attend flight training in the U.S.. Passport status may be discussed during the admissions process.
Do I need DGCA or FAA medical before applying?
You may submit your information or apply before obtaining DGCA and FAA medical certificates. Advisors can discuss medical requirements and next steps during the admissions process. Medicals will be required to begin flight training.
What education background is required?
Applicants should have a High School Education Certificate with passing grades in English, Mathematics, and Physics.
Where does flight training take place?
After completing Ground School in India, AeroGuard India students will come to Phoenix, Arizona, USA for flight training at AeroGuard’s main campus.
